Invitation to Belong

You are invited to be a part of our life together. This is a sincere invitation to belong! New Community Church offers an open invitation to all people. We believe the love of God, as we have come to experience that love, is for everyone. It is hard to believe because we all grow up with experiences of rejection and love with conditions. We don’t do it well all the time, but we do intend to build relationships based on what we experience in the love and grace of God. We desire to cooperate with God’s love as we follow Jesus and share in the work of healing and restoring our lives and our world.

Please come as you are and don’t check your brain at the door. We have been made by God to be in relationship with God and to be guided into all that is true. This is an adventure of love when we are secure in our own minds and spirits. The spiritual journeys of our family are varied and we find it sets us free to be ourselves and follow Jesus with fewer dogmas that kill the vitality God desires for us to find in our souls.

There are many good churches in Wake County. Why check us out? Well, it will enrich your life to spend time with any group of people on an authentic journey of love. You’ll decide if you want to get connected in deeper ways as you get to know us. Jesus gives us a model of being with people (even when it costs you) without needing them to change. We can love one another because God loves us. Inside the secure love of God all things are possible. Love is messy but we invite to join the adventure!
